Katie improved her putting by 30%Current Handicap: 12 "I noticed that I was making more of the 6-8 foot putts that I had originally found so challenging." Katie Stein |
"I am a 12 handicap leisure golfer, playing roughly one round per week throughout the summer months. I am not a long hitter; therefore I have to rely tremendously on my short game and putting.
I feel that I am already a fairly good putter. I don't often 3 putt and tend to make a high percentage of short putts inside 3 feet. When asked to try the ClearBall Putter I was skeptical at first because I already consider myself to be a strong putter. Still, there were areas of my putting that could use improvement. For instance, I have always struggled with putts from 6-8 feet. These putts are especially nerve-wracking because they are usually for birdie or to save par.
After practicing with the Clearball Putter I noticed that I was making more of these 6-8 foot putts that I had originally found so challenging. I found the ClearBall putter reminded me of my alignment techniques and helped re-enforce a straight back and straight-through stroke. The alignment tool acted as a back up so I was able to feel more confident in my putting. The more I practiced with the ClearBall Putter the more confident I became and the 6-8 footer putts became less scary."
